Often compared to the styles of Common, Strange Fruit Project, and The Roots, Kero One is a full time deejay, producer, emcee, and record label owner from the San Francisco bay. 

Since 2003, Kero One has released over a dozen 12" records on his own imprint "plug label", collaborated with or produced for artists such as Talib Kweli, Grand Puba, Ben Westbeech (Giles Peterson, UK), Aloe Blacc, Dj Mitsu, Ohmega Watts, and toured all over the world performing his songs and/or deejaying parties to move dancefloors alongside the likes of KRS 1, EPMD, DJ Kentaro, DJ Cash Money, Ugly Duckling, DJ Mitsu , Blu + Exile.

Kero one's first full length hiphop album release entitled "Windmills Of The soul” garnered the attention of magazines such as Rolling Stones, URB, XlR8R and was called one of the best hiphop albums of 2006 by "Remix magazine Japan" and Blues and Soul Magazine UK. In addition, the album climbed to top spots on International sales charts at record stores as well as ITunes digital downloads.

Currently, Kero One is currently finishing up his 2nd sophmore solo album which is set to drop summer 2008. Fans can expect the same attention to detail and soulful feeling as the first album but this time with a exposition of growth and maturity as a writer, composer, vocalist and arranger.
